My philosophy of therapy is rooted in a strong therapeutic relationship and creative therapeutic interventions to foster healing from trauma and attachment disruptions. I believe that people can heal fro traumatic events, develop healthy coping skills, and embrace their lives by incorporating people and experiences that meet their relational needs. I believe that people who have experienced trauma need trauma-informed, attachment-focused therapies in which help them feel safe and stay regulated. I believe in helping people develop resources they can use in their day-to-day lives is essential so that healing becomes part of daily living.
I believe in CHTA's mission of providing trauma informed, evidenced based therapy and the center's dedication to expand beyond traditional talk therapy to include CHTA's efforts to integrate various types of support including group therapy, parent education, and community outreach.
