CHTA Board of Directors


Cheri Walters: Cheri sat as Director for Morgan County Baby Bear Hugs for many years, Board president for Step x Step, Board for Morgan County Early Childhood Council, Board at SARA House, Inc, and an outreach and fundraising extraordinaire. She has significantly contributed to non-profit growth both financially, and outreach.  

Vice President

Matthew McClain School Counselor, Fort Morgan High School: Matthew is a school counselor at Fort Morgan High School, and currently the President of Colorado Association of School Counselors. Matthew has done training's on Mental Health First Aid, and active church member of Life Fellowship. 


Jennifer Jaramillo Family Advocate, Morgan County Family Center: Jennifer works at Morgan County Family Center, and holds strong advocacy and leadership in her works in Family Partnership, and Preservation & Family Leadership Training Institute. Jennifer is savvy with fundraising, and outreach.


Elizabeth Orosz Retired Social Case Worker, Morgan County Department of Human Services: Retired case social worker for Morgan County Department of Human Services. During her employment with MCDHS, she held active leadership in running FACT Conferences, and worked with challenging caseloads under CORE. 

Jacque Freiner:  I grew up in Fort Morgan.  I graduated from CSU with a degree in Social Work. I worked with Developmentally Disabled youth while at CSU, and my 1st 4 years with MCDHS, I started August 15, 1976.  I have worked in all four units of the Service Division at MCDHS.  I have witnessed the professional intensive work CHTA does in our community and want to support CHTA in whatever way is needed.
